GolfStar Winter Series.

We are happy to announce the continuation of the GolfStar Winter Series. The tournaments will take place from 10–19 February 2027. Registration is now open. First come, first served!

Entry fee.

The entry fee is SEK 22 500 per player. The full entry fee must be paid online no later than 8 January 2027. Payment will open after entry deadline. The entry fee includes nine nights in a shared double room with full board.
Hotel.

Check-in is on 10 February 2027 and check-out is on 19 February 2027. Players will stay at Hotel Terraverda at Empordà Golf, conveniently located on-site at the golf course. The package includes nine nights' accommodation in a shared double room, with full board covering breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout the stay.
Courses and Practice Areas.

Participating players will have access to the following from February 10th: both courses, all practice facilities, range balls, rental trolleys, yardage books, and the hotel gym.

Tournament dates

The tournament will take place from February 10th to 19th, 2027.

GolfStar Winter Series Dunes: 12-14/2
GolfStar Winter Series Forest: 16-18/2

Practice rounds 10-11/2 + 15/2

Both tournaments will be played over 54 holes with cut 45 + ties after 36 holes.

Accommodation

A limited number of single rooms/caddie rooms may be available upon request. Players can indicate their preference during registration; however, availability cannot be guaranteed. Requests will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis according to the time of entry. All rooming requests will be submitted to the hotel on February 1, and availability cannot be confirmed before then. A limited number of triple rooms are available and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis via entry as well.

Single room supplement: €46 per night
Caddie room: €69 per night including breakfast

Additional services:

Half Board: €40 per person/night
Full Board: €75 per person/night
Green Fee: €69
Buggy: €42 per day
Electric Trolley + 1,000 balls: €130 per day
(Local VAT 10% will apply to all prices and touristic tax euro 1,35 per person and night).

Early Arrival Package

For those who wish to arrive earlier than the included date of February 10th, the following packages are available:

1 night in a single room + breakfast + green fee: €205 per room/night
1 night in a double room + breakfast + green fee: €282 per room/night

If staying 5 nights or more, a 15% discount will be applied to the total stay:

5 nights in a single room + breakfast + green fee: €869 per room
5 nights in a double room + breakfast + green fee: €1,206 per room

Prize money & ranking

With 150 participants or more, the prize fund in each tournament will be approximately 600 000 SEK. If there are less than 150, the prize fund will be lower. The exact prize fund will be determined after entry deadline or no later than February 11. The maximum field size is 156 players, and the leading 45 players and ties will make the cut. Both tournaments are included on the Official World Golf Ranking, World amateur Golf Ranking and Golfbox Road To Europe.

Both tournaments will be played over 54 holes with cut after 36 holes.

Eligibility & entry

Winter Series is open for men fulfilling one of the following criterias:

Professionals who are members of a national PGA association with a maximum handicap of -3,4 or better approved by a national federation
Swedish licensed Non-Amateurs with a maximum handicap of -3,4 or better approved by a national federation
Re-Amateurs with a maximum handicap of -3,4 or better approved by a national federation
Amateurs with a maximum handicap of -3,4 or better approved by a national federation

Please note that late entries will only be accepted if the field is not full. In such case late entries will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
